IT Project Manager - Business Process Change - BAU

IT Project Manager - Business Process Change - BAU

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join an established but ambitious business. The successful candidate will have in depth experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of Change Delivery.

Although the role sits within the IT function, you will have significant experience of Business Project Management and Business Change, and will be comfortable taking accountability for delivery of the end-to-end change, not just the IT elements of a project. To that end, the successful candidate will be comfortable managing stakeholders in multiple disciplines, bringing together the right people at the right time to maximise successful delivery.

You will have significant experience managing multiple projects in parallel, ensuring cross-project dependencies are managed, risks are mitigated and issues overcome, in order to meet budget, timescale and quality constraints.

You will ideally have formal training in a recognised Project Management methodology such as PRINCE II, although extensive commercial experience in successful delivery of large and complex projects is of greater importance for this role.

This role is very hands on, so you will also have experience of managing daily meetings with project teams and stakeholders to unblock issues and assure delivery on time and within budget.

You will be comfortable with detail, so that you understand exactly what challenges your projects face, but equally you will be adept at explaining complex issues in concise, business oriented language so that senior stakeholders are kept abreast of current status. You will be skilled at tailoring your communications for all audiences including Executive Management.
